Photos from Cork, Dingle Bay, and the road out of Dublin, taken sometime in January of 1995.
I remember at the end of the summer of 1994, I woke up one morning to about 12 Irish students sleeping on my floor, seems like one of my roommates met them on Martha’s Vineyard where they all worked for the summer and told them they could stay with us for a few days. Two of the guys, named Dara & Hugh, said that they really appreciated us letting them crash there and said that if we ever go over to Ireland they would return the favor, I told them that in January of 1995 I’ll be there. Sure enough they met me and my friend when we came over from London on the ferry. Then they basically drove us all around Dublin for a few days, brought us to some University in Cork, went to a few parties, kissed the Blarney Stone, acted as tour guides, it was incredible. Ended up losing touch with them, Dara is in the guy in the photo, I forget the girls name but they were incredibly nice to two traveling Americans.
